The Opportunity
We are on the lookout for a proactive and detail-oriented Accounts Clerk to join our Finance team in the heart of the CBD. In this role, you'll provide vital accounting and administrative support, working closely with our experienced team to ensure the smooth and efficient running of financial operations. What You’ll Be Doing:
• Processing accounts payable invoices and reconciling with creditor statements on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
• Managing and reconciling credit card transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Handling the accounts payable inbox, responding to queries in a timely and professional manner.
• Processing Visa disbursement entries and ensuring financial data integrity.
• Preparing and maintaining accounting documents and records with 100% accuracy.
• Providing clerical and accounting support to the Finance Team.
About You – What We’re Looking For:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 2-3 years of experience in accounts administration or a similar role.
• Previous experience in a law firm (highly preferred).
• Proficiency in Aderant or similar accounting software.
• Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables and formulas.
• Experience in credit card processing and reconciliation.
• Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, evolving work environment.
• Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organisational skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
