The Opportunity
We’re looking for a motivated and capable Solicitor with 3–4 years’ PQE to join our Property team in Albany. This is a fantastic opportunity to work directly with a highly regarded Partner, gaining hands-on experience across a broad and interesting client base.
The role offers exposure to a wide variety of general practice matters, with a strong focus on residential and commercial property. You’ll also work across trusts, wills, enduring powers of attorney (EPOA), and related private client matters.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage complex property transactions from start to finish.
• Provide strategic and tailored legal advice to a diverse portfolio of clients.
• Conduct legal research and prepare high-quality documentation.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and agreements related to property matters.
• Support and mentor junior team members, contributing to a collaborative team environment.
What You’ll Bring
• A solid grounding in residential and commercial property matters, with previous experience in running files from start to finish.
• Be capable of handling property transactions autonomously, including organising buyer funding arrangements.
• An interest in developing your own client base through networking and business development.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a client-focused mindset.
• A calm, solutions-focused approach to problem solving.
• Excellent attention to detail and high standards of accuracy.
• Confidence to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
