About the Opportunity
We’re seeking an experienced Senior Solicitor to take on a pivotal role in our Property & Commercial team at the city office. This is your chance to work alongside a Partner on high-quality matters that truly make an impact—where your expertise will be valued, and your voice will be heard.
This is an excellent opportunity for a lawyer who:
• Has strong property law experience and wants to broaden into commercial work, or
• Has solid commercial law experience and is keen to gain exposure to property law, or
• Has experience across both areas and wants to deepen their expertise.
About the role
You will also play a key role in building strong client relationships by providing exceptional service, demonstrating professionalism and credibility, and responding promptly to client needs.
This position offers a diverse and challenging workload across property and commercial transactions, including:
• Subdivision and development projects
• Sale of properties off the plan
• Commercial leases
• Sale and purchase of businesses
• Advising companies and shareholders, including drafting shareholders’ agreements
• Commercial contracts
• Advising charitable organisations
About you and what you'll bring
• 2-5 years post-qualified experience in property or commercial law
• Strong drafting and advisory skills
• Excellent communication and client care skills
• A team player with a professional attitude
• Demonstrates a strong work ethic and a drive for success
• Be reliable, well-organised, and capable of managing deadlines
• Having a keen eye for detail and a drive to produce work with high accuracy
• Confidence, motivation, and a proactive approach to your work
• The ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients and colleagues
