Solicitor – Property & Commercial (City)

McVeagh Fleming is a large full-service firm that has been operating in Auckland for over 100 years and has offices in Auckland CBD, Albany and Manukau.

The opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a 2 + year PQE Property & Commercial Lawyer to join our busy Property team based in the CBD office.

Our successful candidate will be an exceptional all-rounder who is well-equipped to handle a variety of property transactions, including sales and purchases, refinances, building contracts, commercial leases, subdivisions and more.

Key responsibilities

• Manage complex property transactions from inception to completion.
• Provide high-level legal advice and solutions to clients on property-related issues.
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support client needs.
• Draft and negotiate a variety of property-related agreements and contracts.

What you'll bring

• Minimum 2 years PQE.
• Prior knowledge and experience in commercial leasing, property development, sales and acquisitions

• Excellent client-facing and relationship-building skills.
