The Opportunity

Our litigation team in Albany is currently looking for someone who is looking to advance their career in general civil litigation. This position involves assisting with legal research, preparing documents, and participating in hearings and trials. The role is designed to provide hands-on experience in all aspects of litigation while developing courtroom and negotiation skills.

This role offers:

  • The opportunity to work on the full gamut of litigation matters, including but not limited to contractual disputes, property, construction, defamation and negligence actions
  • Engagement at the early stages of disputes and there are several opportunities to appear in Court
  • Regular and direct client contact

About you

  • 1 – 2 years PQE
  • Strong research and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and client care skills
  • Knowledge of litigation procedures and court rules
  • Collaborative mindset with a willingness to learn
  • The ability to prioritise, keen administrative and organisational skills
  • Confident and motivated
