The Opportunity
Our Litigation team in Albany is seeking a motivated Solicitor or Senior Solicitor who is looking to advance their career in general civil litigation. This is an excellent opportunity for a litigation lawyer who enjoys hands-on work and is keen to further develop their advocacy, negotiation, and strategic litigation skills.

About the Role
You will be involved in a broad range of civil litigation matters and will play a key role in assisting with all stages of the litigation process. The position offers meaningful responsibility and exposure, with support from an experienced, collaborative team.
•    Exposure to a wide range of civil litigation matters, including contractual disputes, property and construction issues, defamation, and negligence claims
•    Involvement from the early stages of disputes, with opportunities for courtroom appearances
•    Direct client contact and early responsibility to fast-track your professional development

About you
•    1-4 year of PQE 
•    Fluency in Chinese (spoken and written) is an advantage
•    Sound working knowledge of litigation procedures, court rules, and case management requirements 
•    Strong legal research and analytical skills, with the ability to manage matters effectively and independently 
•    Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including confident negotiation and high quality client care 
•    A collaborative and team focused approach, with a commitment to continuous learning and development 
•    Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise competing deadlines 
•    Confident, self-motivated, and proactive, with a professional and solutions-focused mindset
