The Opportunity
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Legal Executive to join our Property & Commercial team in our City office. This role has two main duties, the traditional Legal Executive responsibilities and also administrative duties to support the team.

You will play a key role in managing transactions from start to finish, ensuring a seamless and high-quality experience for our clients. This role also provides the opportunity to develop strong relationships with clients, helping them navigate property and commercial matters with confidence and ease.

What You’ll Be Doing
•    Managing files from opening to closing, ensuring all deadlines are met
•    Handling all aspects of conveyancing, including settlements for residential and commercial properties
•    Preparing and registering legal documents, including finance, security registrations, estate transmissions, and transfers
•    Liaising with clients, other professionals, and team members to ensure smooth transactions
•    Drafting and preparing legal correspondence and documentation
•    Assisting with company incorporations, PPSR registrations, and AML compliance
•    Monthly billing, preparing invoices/statements, and supporting team debt collection
•    Providing additional administrative support when required

What We’re Looking For
•    NZ Diploma in Legal Executive Studies (registration preferred but not essential)
•    At least two years' experience in a similar role
•    Excellent time management and attention to detail
•    Strong written and verbal communication skills, including document drafting
•    Experience with Landonline, Webforms, Kiwisaver forms, Companies Office, PPSR, and AML compliance
