About the role 

This role ensures the smooth running of the team and is responsible for the full range of legal secretarial services, including administrative activity, diary management, file management and billing.

Our ideal candidate will need to have a strong work ethic, excellent communication, organisation and administrative skills, but most importantly, they will thrive in a busy team environment where they will work alongside a mix of two Legal Executives and two senior lawyers.

About the responsibilities
•    Opening, maintaining and closing files
•    Typing and transcribing
•    Preparing eDealings, eDealing authorities and all documentation ancillary to residential and commercial property conveyancing
•    Liaising, communicating and reporting effectively with clients, other professionals and staff
•    Preparing legal documents and correspondence
•    Monitoring and meeting file-related deadlines
•    Management of the authors’ information and document systems, including iManage, Aderant and Outlook
•    AML compliance
•    Monthly billing, preparation of invoices and statements, and team debt collection
•    Electronic diary management and arrangement of meetings for team authors
•    General administrative support to team authors

About you and what you'll bring
•    At least 2 years previous experience in a similar role providing a high level of personal assistance and support
•    Experience in Property (Landonline, eDealings) and private client matters 
•    A can-do attitude and strong work ethic are essential
•    Accurate and efficient typing skills
•    Excellent time management skills
•    The ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure
•    Excellent attention to detail
•    Prior experience with iManage, Webforms & Aderant an advantage but not essential
